Today I found joy in conversation with a soon-to-be-wed couple. Seeing the love, excitement, and commitment in the faces of this young couple was joy, joy! Ah-h-h-h-h-h, young love - nothing quite like it.

Along the same lines, remembering all the same-sex couples I performed ceremonies for in Portland a number of years ago when it was legal for two months. Seeing the looks in their faces as well as lots of tears was something I'll never forget even if those marriages are no longer legal.
